Full Refund Before Filing
If we have not yet filed your copyright registration with the US Copyright Office, you may request a full refund for any reason. Email us at support@fastcopyrightfiling.com with your order number and we will refund your payment in full.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days.
No Refunds After Filing
Once we have submitted your application to the US Copyright Office, we cannot issue a refund. This is because:
- The US Copyright Office's filing fee ($65 for single works, $85 for groups) is non-refundable once paid to the government.
- The work to prepare and file your application has already been performed.
You will receive an email confirmation the moment we file your registration with the Copyright Office. After that point, refunds are not available.
If We Cannot File Your Order
If, after reviewing your submission, we determine that we cannot file your application (for example, due to incomplete information that cannot be resolved), we will contact you. If we cannot resolve the issue together, we will offer a full refund.
Stripe Disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We're a small team and almost any concern can be resolved quickly through email, usually much faster than a dispute.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@fastcopyrightfiling.com with:
- Your order number (e.g., FCF-20260518-XXXX)
- The email address used to place the order
- A brief reason for the refund (optional, but helpful)
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 1 business day.
